When nature strikes, it is often the most vulnerable communities that are affected the hardest.

This August, Giving Tree is extending its support to flood-affected families in Simaluguri, Upper Assam, where relentless flooding has disrupted lives, damaged homes, and left many struggling to access even the most basic necessities.

After weeks of checks and identifying the right channel where help is given is truly reached to the needy at grassroot level, we have decided to collaborate with social worker Mr. Gautom Hatimuria, who is coordinating relief efforts on the ground. Through his help, we aim to provide immediate assistance to families who have lost their belongings and are rebuilding their lives one day at a time. Through this campaign, we hope to raise funds for essential relief materials such as food supplies, clean drinking water, clothing, hygiene essentials, and other necessities required by the affected families.
