This month, Giving Tree is raising funds for the life-saving treatment of two preterm twin babies, Dhairya and Shrisha Santosh Vedre who are currently undergoing NICU treatment at Ankur Hospital in Virar. Born prematurely at just 6 months and 9 days, they have been on ventilators since birth and need to remain in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for a minimum of 40-50 days to stabilize and receive critical care. The boy baby has been recently taken off the ventilation but the girl baby is still on oxygen support.

The medical costs of prolonged NICU support are overwhelming for their family, so Giving Tree has decided to raise its largest  fund raiser till date for this family in their time of need. We have committed to raise Rs 2 lakhs to support their ongoing medical care and to ensure the little ones receive the specialized care they need.
